Sadie lady is a 5-year-old, 40-lb German shepherd mix gal. She is extremely well trained. She can do the following on command: sit, leave it, and give paw. Sadie can be trusted off of her leash and listens very well to her foster mom. When it's time to go into her crate, she doesn't hesitate; once inside, she doesn't whine or fuss. In fact, she hardly barks at all. This girl has quite the appetite! She would eat all day long if she could. She and her foster family's female dog need to be fed at separate times because Sadie gets quite anxious and might snap at the other dog. Her mild aggression is strictly food-related and can be controlled through alternating meal times if another dog is in the home. She also gets a little nervous if a kitty hangs out around her food and ends up chasing them away, but would never hurt anyone! Sadie likes to wrestle with people and romp around with other dogs. She's a very affectionate girl who will give lots of kisses and snuggle with you whenever you want. She'll even play with kids and toddlers. If you're looking for a well-trained, affectionate girl, and you're willing to provide some understanding and training for her food-sharing issue, Sadie would be so lucky to have you. Her foster mom says, "All in all she is a remarkable dog who will steal your heart in about 10 seconds. I'm so glad she was saved because she is so lovable and returns that love tenfold."
