Roscoe - the little dog with a big heart! Roscoe is a 1 1/2 year old, 15 lb border terrier mix. He's got a wiry coat and the cutest black and white patches. He is one of the very few dogs that we find abandoned and rescue so we saved him "pre-shelter" so to speak. We suspect he was abused and it takes him a minute to feel secure around a new person. He has loads of great things about him and we know you'll think he's a gem! He is doing very well at house and crate training. He's a perfect gentlemen to other dogs and especially likes larger doggie friends. He's also a fan of kids, and we're going to see how he does with kitty cats too. Roscoe is quite the athlete. He can clear a 4 foot fence without even touching it! So, we are looking for a nice privacy-fenced yard or maybe an invisible fence off a non-busy street. He would even do well with an active dog owner that lived in an apartment that could commit to walking. Roscoe is a little love bug waiting to fall in love with the right family or person.
